With her new passport in hand, Abigail found her way through Austria and into the Czech Republic, the land where the LORD brought her mom and dad together. It was a 9 and 1/2 hour drive and she did amazing!
We headed up there for the annual Josiah Venture's Leadership conference. Mom only made it to one of the sessions, but was quite contented in taking care of little Abigail. It was so nice and refreshing to just have to "show up" for meals instead of thinking of what to cook and dealing with the (false) guilt when there is no dinner for the evening. Joel was challenged and enriched by the teaching, as always, and came back encouraged and rejuvenated.
Abigail got a healthy dose of "people" and went from hand to hand of many. It was a joy for both Joel and I to watch others enjoying our daughter. She's a miracle to us and a gift from the LORD, it was so fun to share her with our JV family.
