There she is! Passport and boarding ticket in hand...ready to go! Thank you so much for your prayers! We all arrived safe and sound Saturday evening, very tired, but we were all here and our luggage too. Abigail did amazing on the flights over. For some reason the airline lost our reservation for the bassinett and bulk head seating so we ended up holding her in our laps for the 9 hour flight. She was awfully tired, but couldn't get comfortable enough to sleep and ended up just taking little naps off and on. All in all, I think she only got about 3 hours of sleep. The rest of the time though she was so good. You couldn't even tell she was sleep deprived. We were so proud of her! At 7-1/2 hours into the long flight I was holding her while standing in the aisle and she was wide awake, laughing and causing other passengers to look up from their movies and even woke up a few people.
It's been so fun to be in America again...Abigail is busy getting to know her Grandparents, Great Grandparents, an Aunt & Uncle and two cousins. Oh, and Sunday morning she had her first church nursery experience and she did great! It was my (Amy) first time in a long time to sit through an entire church service. So nice....but we were ready afterward to go get our girl!
This week we've found ourselves so thankful for family and friends, for our sweet little girl, for our country here and our country over there, and for all the things the LORD provides for us....so many things to be thankful for! We wish you a blessed Thanksgiving day with your family!
