JV Spring Bible Conference

After our few days in Vienna we headed north to Czech for Josiah Venture's Spring Bible Conference. Dave Patty was the main speaker this year. We were both looking forward to some good teaching in English as well as worship in English. He compared the lives of Saul and David and brought us all to places of repentance and transformation in our personal lives. It was refreshing to deal with some sin in our own lives, experience forgiveness and grace and step into new areas of growth. We walked through this with the "seers" in our lives here, so it was meaningful to go deeper in our relationships with them as well as each other.

Every year it's encouraging to get together with everyone, hear about what the LORD is doing in their lives and areas of ministry and share about our own lives. This year it was especially fun to bring Abigail Joy and introduce her to the JV family and have her welcomed as one of the new JV Kids. We were really looking forward to her getting to spend time with all the great kids that are a part of JV, unfortunately though, a stomach virus was going around and she ended up getting that and was just out of energy for most of the time there. She enjoyed, as always, watching all the people though.

One of the afternoons is always reserved for a Family Day. This year it was a Hoe Down! complete with square dancing, fun games, cotton candy and fresh popcorn! It's always fun to play together as family!
