November 1st was a holiday here in Slovenia so as a team we met at the Patty's for our monthly ministry meeting. After the meeting, we had lunch together, then went bowling and hung out at the Patty's again afterward. Our newer JV team members in Croatia, Stevo & Sarah Vuletic were able to join us with their kids as well. It was a really fun day together.
And Abigail had a really great time playing with Luke. Although, he didn't seem as interested in her. : ) At one point she was trying and trying to give him a hug and he just kept sitting there. Then later, he was occupied with a toy, so Abigail seized the opportunity to play with his locks of hair. Then later, they were sharing a bowl of popcorn and decided to feed Luke. Kristi said, "She finally figured him out. He was saying, 'don't hug me, don't play with me, just feed me!'" It was really cute and so fun for Abigail. It's all things she's been doing lately with her doll or stuffed animals, but they're not able to interact back with her. I think she thought she found a "real live dolly" to play with! Thanks for putting up with her, Luke! It takes a real man to do that! You're a good sport!

We have the sweetest pictures of Tyler Patty walking Grace at this same age. We tease him about it now - and cherish him for his great sweetness with our baby. What special love you have for these girls for being such great big friends to Abigail. I pray she will grow up following their great examples. She is surrounded with a great crowd of good JV girls!

As always, it is fun to see the team and children alike having a good time together, rejoicing in the Lord's provision, His love and His work. Those little ones, all of them, are so precious!
