Under Construction

Trdna Skala is expanding! For the past week, 6 men from Modesto, California have been working hard to renovate our student center into a home for the local body of Christ in Kranj. (Pictured left is the new room.)

Through lots of back-breaking work, they broke through a 2 1/2 foot wall to house a new doorway from Trdna Skala into an adjacent room that will be a new Sunday School room with many other uses as well.

For those of you who have been to Trdna Skala or have seen pictures...the room is now in reverse. The front is now the back and the back is now the front, picture below. They've put in a second bathroom, sealed in and finished the walls in the back storage room, fixed the ceiling (that was in bad repair from last summer's construction on the upper floors of the building during rainstorms), took out an entire wall and are now remodeling the new room. I'm sure there are other things that they've done and will do more...

It's been such a blessing to have them here, serving in this way. We would not have been able to afford to pay workers to do what they have done and especially in the time that they have/are completing it all. They plan to finish their work by Friday, I'm sure they will be heading home very tired after all that they've done here.

The above picture was taken where the stage used to be.

This picture is taken from the new room looking into Trdna Skala.

The six men who have blessed us. Our Pastor, Drago, is on the right.
