Time with the Ladies

Terry Jackson's parents are visiting right now and his mother brought a very special gift for us JV Slo women! She brought a Beth Moore DVD set with Bible Study. This one is Measureless Love and it's actually just a "weekend" series that she taught on. It has been such a blessing and encouragement to all of us women to get together for the last three Wednesday's and watch the DVD's together and then do a devotional study at home.

I got to host today's get-together. It was fun to have all the ladies up in our neck of the woods. Originally we planned for it to be here because Glorija was having a doctor appt this morning and it would be easier for her to just come here afterward. Instead though, she is sitting in the hospital at 34 weeks waiting for little Patrik to make his turn as he prepares for being born.
Glorija's doctor is concerned since little Patrik has such long legs that he's having a hard time doing it and with 36 weeks approaching, he'll just keep getting bigger, so they're giving her some medication to hopefully relax her muscles to allow the little guy to turn around. If they don't work in the next couple days, they'll physically try to turn him on Friday. We're all praying that Patrik decides to turn on his own. Feel free to join us in praying that for both Glorija and Patrik.

After today's study, we all ventured over to the hospital to be with Glorija for a bit since she couldn't be with us. It was fun to join her there and pray for both her and Patrik. It's the same hospital both Abigail and Elijah were born in and we share the same Doctor. It was nice for me to be there again....this time without baby on board. : )
David Bordner came up and shared baby duty with Joel while us ladies enjoyed our time together. Then when we headed to the hospital Joel took the kids to a cafe with a small play area. This was how we found him upon arrival. He said the cafe has gotten rid of their plastic slide and have just a few toys now and the kids actually got bored pretty quickly. He's good at finding new ways to entertain them though!! Thanks, Honey! I appreciate you!
