Barbie Land!

The mall in Celje had a fully pink land of Barbies and all her accessories this past weekend. Joel was meeting Andrej there for a national training day coming up, so I asked if the kids and I could join him and see if Nina would want to join us with their daughter Eva.

It turned out that Eva fell asleep in the car just before arriving at the mall, so Nina waited in the car with her to give her some time to sleep. That left Abigail with a half an hour to make her way around Barbie Land. She's never played with Barbies before and enjoyed the animals, houses and house gadgets more than the actual dolls. At one point, I was sitting at a near-by cafe with Nina & Andrej when she came up to the table with two of the horses "Yook Mommy, horses!!"
Elijah found some cars to play with, but became bored pretty quick and was ready to move on. He looked definitely out of place in his all-boy camoflauge in that world of pink!
