The camp ended with a concert for the students parents and friends. There was singing and dancing and dramas. It was really great! One of the people who came from the states to help out with the camp works at Disneyland in California and came up with and taught the choreography for all the songs. It was very fun to watch!
Tilen was in two of the dramas and did a fantastic job!! The first one, he read the story, "You Are Special" by Max Lucado and several other students acted it out as he read. It was very well done! It's one of Abigail's favorite books and when it began, she said, "I have that book too!!"
The next one he was a boy, trying to fit in and make friends and the people kept rejecting him, taking a long piece of paper and measuring it to him, then shaking their heads and draping it over his shoulders as if he didn't measure up. After some time he became so sad, he was about to hang himself with the papers...sounds more depressing than it was...and then a girl comes and begins to sing the song, "My Life Is In Your Hands" and the rest of the group joins in, singing it to Tilen. They all did a wonderful job. We were especially proud of Tilen!!
Seven students from Kranj went to the concert in support of Tilen! It was fun to see so many students there! Tjasa was one of them and Abigail sat with her the entire concert!
