We're enjoying our time with my parents! They stocked up on cereals and treats and yummy American food! Right away, Elijah discovered a new cereal that he likes...Costco size! Abigail is loving having Grandparent time; looking at books, sitting in laps, playing games...just fun, fun, fun! Deer come around each day, looking for food, so the kids have been able to help feed them a couple times!
On Saturday, they invited a bunch of people over for a BBQ from the church here on the ranch. It was great to see people again and get some casual time together. Then Sunday morning, Joel was able to speak at Sunday School and share about the closing of our chapter in Slovenia and what is next for us, as well as encourage them to continue supporting JV in Slovenia through Shawn & Christena Werdebaugh.
They're a couple that moved to the ranch about the same time we first moved to Slovenia. After 6 years, they're still praying and preparing to go to Slovenia with JV, hopefully within the next year & a half. They have 4 boys and a new baby girl. They're second boy is just two weeks younger than Abigail and right about the same age as Luke Patty and Landon Jenkins. Their kids will be a great addition to the JV kids!
Their family came to Slovenia a summer ago and the kids had lots of play time together back then, so it was fun to see them all playing together again!
