Hooray for snow!! The kids were so excited when they woke up this morning and saw snow out their bedroom window. We've been waiting all winter for some snow to play in...well, without driving up the mountain.
We started out with Snowmen pancakes for a warm breakfast and then got ready and headed outside for some fun in the snow! Caleb enjoyed it, but it was about time for his nap so he didn't last very long. Abigail and Elijah enjoyed a long time of playing outside and then ventured back in once their gloves were finally soaked, ready for some hot cocoa.
I had some leftover candy canes from Christmas so we melted those into the hot chocolate and the kids made snowmen on a stick with mini marshmallows and a toothpick! The snow is now on it's way to melting away, we're hoping for some more tonight or tomorrow...we'll see!

Snow angels! What fun! Elijah's cheeks were so pink and cute! Caleb is just growing too fast, we need to get over there for a grandparent fix!
