Today Joel had the day off so we headed up to Vintgar, near Bled. It's a gorge area with waterfalls and a river....so beautiful! The sky was a clear blue and the air so fresh. It was fun to take Abigail out and watch her eyes as she looked at everything. The place reminded me of the trails in the Columbia Gorge...such a nice reminder!
Eventually, Abigail fell asleep. Joel was holding her left hand and any time he tried to drop it, she would wake up. So for over an hour, he supported her hand so she could get some sleep. He said his own arm was going to sleep from being in that upright position for so long!

Hi Joel and Amy, How nice to have these wonderful pictures of your beautiful Abigail forwarded to us. Enjoyed them immensely and the news of your work in Slovenia.
Was especially interested in Amy's comment about the Columbia Gorge which we are enjoying so much. The Columbia River is so clear and lovely. We will be moving soon and our view will overlook the River in the distance. God bless you and we are so happy you'll be able to get home for Thanksgiving.
