Zapik part 2

We had a great time at the retreat! Thank you for your prayers! There was lots of time for relaxing and just enjoying being together. The meeting room was set up with a blown-up air mattress, 4 bean-bag chairs, a sleeping bag and lots of blankets. And amazingly enough, the students all stayed awake during the teaching times. Sebastian did a great job with all the teaching. He would teach them about studying the Bible and then have them do it. They all went home with good tools for understanding the Bible on their own at home.

The game went well. Joel started it off by saying that before we got to the retreat someone among us had tried to poison the water and our job was to find out who. We'd all narrowed it down to four suspects with Abigail thrown in at the end. Jernej was one of those four and he ended up being the one who tried to kill us all...so we all won! When Joel asked why they were voting for Abigail as the killer they said, "cause she's so cute, she's killin' us!" Too funny!!

She did great at the retreat too. She almost slept better there than at home! It was so nice though because then Mommy could hang out with everyone too. The girls started doing bunny ears behind someone's head and almost everytime it would make Abigail laugh. So cute!

Oh! And another fun thing from the retreat is that we got our first snow on Friday morning! It was all melted by noon, but it was so beautiful to watch it come down! I wonder if it's going to be a long winter here again... last year we had snow from Thanksgiving weekend to the end of March. It was long!
