It felt like Thanksgiving stretched out for a week or so this year. With getting our kitchen completed, it was nice to be able to have a little Thanksgiving dinner together on Friday, then on Saturday, we headed to the Jacksons for a Thanksgiving Day with their family as well as several other team members, including a newer family to JV down in Croatia. It was a nice day together.

It's absolutely wonderful to have a full, functioning and organized kitchen again. Whew! It was a long haul and now that we have it complete, it was well worth the wait. I'm especially looking forward to baking and cooking during these winter months. Abigail is enjoying all the new cabinets to open, look in and re-organize. Although, she hasn't done too much taking "out" of things, so maybe she thinks I did a good enough job in this kitchen of putting things where they should go.
On Sunday we decorated for Christmas around the house. That was fun. Our version of "Home Depot" begins selling trees today, so we'll be getting one in a day or so and are looking forward to that. Abigail is enjoying all the decorations and keeps going up to the candles around the house, putting her hand near it and saying "Haa" which means "hot".
We're looking forward to celebrating Christmas this year in our new home and just enjoying the month ahead. We've got about 5 weeks more until Baby Boy arrives, so it will be fun to get prepared for his arrival at the same time as celebrating Jesus birth.
Merry Christmas Season to all of you!
