Graduation Day!

We finally purchased a toddler car seat for Abigail. She's been using her infant seat and sitting backward until now. The seat goes to 30 lbs and it's recommended to wait until then to switch to a different seat, but we were having troubles getting her buckled in, especially when she's wearing her winter coats!

So here she is, sitting pretty in her new chair, facing forward and proudly kicking the back of Daddy's seat! And yes, she's our little Russian babushka!

For the past 6 months or so, we've had 3-4 or sometimes as many as 6 students at church on Sunday mornings. Abigail and I try very hard to be ready at 9:15 to head to church together with Joel (he goes early to warm up for leading worship with Megi) as a family, but more often than not, her and I end up arriving just before church starts at 10. Today though! Abigail and I were ready on time and we all got to go as a family! It was wonderful.

So all that to say...after church, Joel often gives the various students rides home from church and lately has been stopping along the way somewhere for coffee. Today though, we were all able to go and Abigail loves having the extra company in the car (even if her face doesn't look very happy in the photo), as do we all!

I've enjoyed the new posts. Your kitchen looks wonderful, and congrats on the success with the tree lights! :) Love the hat, Abigail.
