I have several blog updates I want to post, so I'll start with our day at the water park and do a few more tomorrow! So check back in with us!
Tuesday was a great day! We made the hour and half trip to the water park, paid for our golden ticket, globbed on the sunscreen (on the kids...we forgot about ourselves! Ouch!!) and headed for the clear blue water! It was a beautiful day, hot and clear...perfect for spending the day at the water park!
We thought we would spend most of our time here:
But as you might notice with the water, it was too overwhelming for the kids. We were very impressed though and wanted to play! : )
And ended up here instead:
The kids really enjoyed the lazy river, the slides and watching all the other kids literally "running" around. Abigail just wanted to observe everything for the first 10-15 minutes and then she was ready for the yellow slide, then ventured up to the red one. It was our first time at the park and we were really pleased how baby and toddler friendly it was!
There was this large play area with three slides as well as other fun things to play on. Also, over by the Pirate ship area was another shallow water play area with another three small slides for little kids. There was a wave pool and other "big kid" slides that we didn't make it to this time around. We'll save those for when the kids are older. All in all, we had a great time. We ended up leaving to make the trip home around 3 o'clock with a stop for ice cream as we headed out the gate.
So YAY for a fun day in the water! BOO for sunburns!!

looks like LOTS of fun. Noah loves the water but the pirate ship place would have frightened him too.
Sorry you got sun burned but glad you had such a great day!!
