Christmas Party and away we go!

We just love these students and it was so enjoyable to celebrate Christmas with them! We drank hot chocolate, listened to Christmas music, talked about "why" we give gifts and then had a white elephant exchange. It was the first time for most of them, so they were a bit timid to snatch gifts, but it was fun anyway. Joel walked away with a gift certificate to a free movie! Yay for us...date night!Our suitcases are packed, we're just tucking in last minute items and we're ready to go! We're heading to Charleston, South Carolina to be with Joel's parents for 3 weeks. The week of Christmas we'll be having a family reunion with his parents and siblings and their kids. There will be 18 of us altogether. We are really looking forward to being with everyone for the holidays!

So our next post will most likely be from the other side of the ocean!
