Our friends, Gavin & Amanda Desnoyers are in town this week. They used to be with Josiah Venture in Slovakia and we met them during training before ever leaving for Slovenia and were friends from the moment we met. They now live in Atlanta, Georgia and came over to Charleston for a short vacation to visit us.It's been so fun to be with them again and now we have 5 (almost 6) kids between us! We've been quite an entourage wherever we've gone, but have been having a wonderful time together.
Yesterday we went to one of the islands around here (Sullivan's Island) and enjoyed the sunny weather, playing in the sand and surf and just being together again. After that we wandered over to a mall with a play place and let the kids run around in there together for about an hour, that was great for all of us!

Gavin & Amanda are some of our all time favorite people - and so are you! Would have loved to have been on that beach with both of your families.
Isn't it funny when you get together with friends and now there are all these little kids with you?! When did we turn into a skolka?
So glad to hear God is giving you some good time with people who understand this huge transition you're in. All good gifts are from Him - and this visit is another proof of how He's taking good care of you during these emotional days.
