Teddy Bear Picnic

Sunday, we ventured downtown Charleston to a park for a Teddy Bear Picnic. We forgot the teddy bears at home, but the kids enjoyed it anyway! There was face-painting, story times, fun music, a parade around the park for the kids and their bears, seed plantings and cookie decorating! Fun, fun, fun!The kids were actually a little stunned again and not sure what to do with it all. We're not sure if all little kids are like that at their age or if it's just our kids with coming from overseas.

I was happily surprised that Abigail ended up getting her face painted, it was fun to see her try something new like that.Elijah opted out of getting his face painted and put his sticker on his face instead! Funny kid!

They looked like they were having fun, though! Abigail looks like a little princess with the braid in her hair. it makes it look as if her hair is flowing behind her! So cute! Eli just can't be still long enough to have his face painted! Much better to stick that sticker on and go......:)
