Easter Egg Hunt

The Pate's invited everyone from Sunday School over to their house this morning for an Easter Egg Hunt in the greenway behind their house. It was going to be the kids first one and after stuffing 32 eggs full of candy, they were very excited to participate!

Today was one of the first clear, sunny days that we've had this Spring! The news was saying it was going to be close to 70 degrees which was enough to make the day extra special, but add to that an Easter Egg Hunt in the morning...it was just so much fun! The Pate's also provided Krispy Kreme donuts and Starbucks coffee for all which just fueled the excitement!
Here's the "before" shot of the group of kids, I don't think we could've gotten one afterward! : )
Abigail in action, love seeing that smile on her face!
Here's Elijah finding an egg treasure!
And here's Caleb...he actually was the "last kid out" not sure what was going on. He caught on pretty quick though and although he was slower than all the rest, he got about 7 that were all left behind by all the other kiddos!  I loved watching him find one, bend down to pick it up and drop it in! So cute!! : )

Abigail's loot!
These days, trying to get a picture of all three kiddos smiling and looking at the camera is a difficult task!
This was the best one out of about 10, complete with frosting smiles from those yummy donuts!! : ) Same thing with the family picture...at least we got one though! I realized recently that I haven't taken ANY pregnancy pictures and we've only got 6 weeks to go!

Very nice! What a fun time they seemed to be having. I will post on Sorensen blog the big clan that was here for Easter, but it would have been perfect if we had been with you all!
Love you,
Mom
