The kiddos had another fun time at the Easter Egg Hunt this morning! I love this tradition with the kids and that they're remembering it each year. They were super excited to fill their eggs with candy and talked about what they got last year. I love that it's part of our family's story and special Easter traditions. I also like how Caleb is holding Hannah's little piggy-tail (above right photo). It's so cute! He's really sweet on her, like in the picture below where his hands are rather snugly around her neck. ;)
The other night I was putting just the two little ones to bed. I held Hannah, her binky in her mouth and special blanky over my shoulder with her head laying on top. It's a formula for bedtime with her. ;) I held her while I sang and prayed, Caleb resting in his bed, lights out. I took Hannah to her bed and when I came back to tuck Caleb in, he was laying on his back with his arms up and tucked under his head and he sighed and said softly,
"I sure do wuv Hannah, Mom." It melted my heart. He really does.
It's nice to have a new family photo too! The smiles weren't as great as last year, but it's still fun to see the growth in our kiddos.
